Bold invitation: Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight is coming to Los Angeles, and you won’t want to miss this free screening, plus a live Q&A and a reception.
Original source: Cartoon Brew invites you and a guest to a special LA screening of Netflix’s Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight, a five-time Annie-nominated series. The show adapts one of the franchise’s most beloved tales from René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo’s classic French comics. In this story, Rome is determined to subdue the last independent Gaul village, but the Gauls have lost their magic potion—robotically potent strength—when their potion master loses his memory. With no potion, Asterix, Obelix, and the villagers must rely on clever tricks, teamwork, and stubborn resolve to outwit Rome.
What this new adaptation brings: a fresh animated approach under the direction of Alain Chabat, with Fabrice Joubert co-directing, and production by TAT Productions, offering a modern spin on the legendary characters.

- Date and time: Sunday, February 22 at 2:00 PM
