Get ready for an intense golf showdown! The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am delivered a thrilling finish that had us on the edge of our seats. Collin Morikawa emerged victorious, claiming his first PGA Tour title since 2023, but not without a fight. Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy put up a fierce battle, and here's how it all went down.
Morikawa started the final day two strokes behind Akshay Bhatia, and the weather didn't make it any easier. With tee times adjusted due to bad weather, Morikawa's slow start at Pebble Beach Golf Links added to the drama. But he fought back, sinking a 10-foot birdie on the 11th and following it up with consecutive gains on the 15th, taking the lead with two holes to go.

Morikawa's victory wasn't without its challenges. He recovered from a bogey on the par-three 17th to birdie the par-five last, sealing the deal with a close-range tap-in. He finished five-under 67, two strokes ahead of Min Woo Lee and Sepp Straka.
But here's where it gets controversial... Scottie Scheffler, ranked world No. 1, produced a round-of-the-day 63, jumping into a tie for fourth alongside Tommy Fleetwood. And this is the part most people miss: Scheffler was 13 strokes behind the halfway lead and eight back on the final day. He made an incredible comeback, holing a 15-footer on the first, eagling the par-five next, and picking up shots on the par-four third. He even had a chance to tie for the lead, but a poor bogey on the 15th and missed opportunities left him needing an eagle on the final hole, which he delivered with a spectacular iron shot.

Morikawa, meanwhile, held off a bunched leaderboard. With three other players still on the course at 20 under, he scrambled pars on the 13th and 14th, then holed a 30-footer to take the lead. But a bogey on the par-three 16th kept things interesting. Lee, who birdied four of his last six holes, joined Morikawa at 21 under, setting up a tense finish.

And let's not forget Rory McIlroy, who signed off his title defence with an impressive eight-under 64, including eight birdies in a bogey-free round. He's feeling confident heading into the next stretch of the PGA Tour season.
