The Calgary Flames are reportedly shopping defenseman Rasmus Andersson, with four teams in the running to acquire him. According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the Boston Bruins and Vegas Golden Knights are among the top contenders. Andersson, 29, is a right-shot defenseman who is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He has a six-team no-trade list and is on the final season of a six-year, $27.3 million contract with a cap hit of $4.55 million. Andersson has 10 goals and 29 points in 47 games this season, averaging 24:12 of ice time. The Flames are currently in seventh place in the Pacific Division with a 20-23-4 record, seven points behind the Seattle Kraken and San Jose Sharks for the final playoff spots in the Western Conference. The team faces the New York Islanders on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, and Andersson's participation in the game is uncertain unless there's progress in the trade talks. Andersson has 57 goals and 260 points in 583 NHL games, drafted 53rd overall by the Flames in the 2015 draft.
