Motorola's Foldable Future: Razr Fold, Edge 70 Fusion & New Moto Buds Unveiled! (2026)

Motorola unveils the Razr Fold at MWC, alongside the Edge 70 Fusion and new Moto Buds 2 and 2 Plus

In Barcelona, Mobile World Congress is kicking off, and Motorola has opened with a strong lineup of devices, led by the Razr Fold — the company’s first book-style foldable smartphone, teased earlier at CES.

The lineup also includes the Moto Edge 70 Fusion and the new Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus.

The star of the show is clearly the Razr Fold. It features a 6.6-inch external display that opens to an expansive 8.1-inch 2K LTPO internal touchscreen. The display supports an adaptive interface and works with the Moto Pen Ultra stylus for smooth navigation, notes, sketches, and quick app switching.

Under the hood, the Razr Fold is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. A substantial 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 80W TurboPower charging for swift top-ups.

Camera-wise, you get a 20MP front camera on the outer screen, a 32MP front camera on the inner display, and a triple-camera setup on the rear: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom using Sony LYTIA tech, and a 50MP ultrawide with macro capabilities.

Color options for the Razr Fold are Lily White and Blackened Blue.

Australian availability hasn’t been confirmed yet. Motorola Australia has indicated that local availability will be announced soon, so fans Down Under shouldn’t have to wait long.

If foldables aren’t your cup of tea, the Edge 70 Fusion is also on display, described by Motorola as a blend of elegance, comfort, and durability.

It features IP69/IP68 protection, MIL-STD-810H durability, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for resilience in the wild. The display is a 6.8-inch Extreme 1.5K Super HD AMOLED panel available in multiple Pantone colorways.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, the Edge 70 Fusion houses a 5200mAh battery rated to last up to 39 hours and supports 68W fast charging.

On the rear, you’ll find a triple-camera arrangement: a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, a 13MP ultrawide + macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera embedded in the display.

Rounding out the announcements are the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus.

The Buds 2 target a younger, entry-level audience, offering Active Noise Cancellation up to 55dB and up to 11 hours of playback, with a total of 48 hours including the charging case.

They rely on dual 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm Micro Planar magnetic drivers, with support for high-resolution audio.

The Buds 2 Plus add a premium edge with Sound by Bose technology for deeper, more detailed sound. They use 11mm drivers with “full-bodied” bass and feature six onboard microphones to enhance Dynamic ANC for better isolation.

Battery life stands at up to 9 hours of playback, 40 hours total with the case. A notable feature is Audio Share, which lets you connect two pairs of Buds 2 Plus to the same device so you and a friend can listen together.

We’ll keep you posted on local launch details for Australia as Motorola shares them.
